A SHORT BIOGRAPHY:

Born Jason S. Lockard on August 18th 1978 to Rev. W. Scott & Betty Lockard in the little town of Portland In. Pastor Lockard was pastoring Portland Wesleyan Church one of the larger churches in the community! Jason grew up as the typical rowdy preachers kid enjoying television, movies, sports, comics and being carefree.

As Jason grew his parents noticed he had a gift for singing so they tried to get him to use that gift by having him sing in church but Jason didn’t show much interest in getting in front of crowds! When the family moved to New Canton, Virginia Jason [who was 13 years old at this time] was asked to star in the yearly Christmas Musical he agreed that’s when Jason found his love for singing for people!

In the years that followed Jason began to sing in church honing his musical craft! He even began to write music. Over the years Jason began getting calls to sing in churches around where he lived! Then after High School Jason got the opportunity to work as a Disk Jockey on radio Station WCLW 1130AM in Reidsville N.C. Jason had found a real way to spread the Gospel on a daily basis! He became one of the most popular DJ’s on the station! But God was calling his family to a new state....Kentucky!

While in Kentucky Jason began a new chapter in his writing. Jason wrote a Christmas Play Called 'A Hobo's Christmas Dinner' and he created the characters Harry the Hobo and Annie for this play! It was received with a standing ovation! Jason has gone on to write over 30 half hour plays, a full length feature movie script and has even made a comic strip of The Adventures of Harry the Hobo and Annie! Jason has also started to use his love for Superheroes and has began a new Comic Book Series entitled "Guardian Angel"!

In 2008 Jason started Lighthouse Pictures an independent tv/film company and started producing a monthly Internet TV broadcast for his father called Bright Side TV with Rev. Lockard! In September 5th 2008 Jason stepped in front of the camera and produced the first season of his one man sketch comedy show! The Jason Show! Than On May 5th 2009 Jason released his first film entitled Omega which he wrote, directed and starred in! In June of 2009 Jason began following in his father's footsteps [who is an accomplished writer] when he became a staff writer for Rogue Cinema Magazine debuting an article entitled Classic Cinema recalling his love for Classic Movies!

These are busy days for Jason with writing a monthly article for Rogue Cinema Magazine, Producing Internet TV and Films.... And Jason still finds time to take concerts and go into his recording studio and produce new CDs!
